D's Sweet Bread is more than a bakery—it's a story of family, love, and resilience.

We're Danyelle and Lizzie, a mother and daughter team who discovered a passion for homemade bread after realizing how simple, wholesome ingredients could create something truly special. What began as baking for family and friends quickly grew into a dream.

In 2023, while learning the art of sourdough, our family faced some of life's greatest challenges. Over the next two years, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of my (Danyelle's) brother, father, and sister. Through it all, baking became a source of comfort, healing, and connection.

The kitchen became a place where memories were made, stories were shared, and hope was renewed. Every loaf represented something bigger than bread—it represented perseverance, love, and the importance of gathering around the table with the people who matter most.

Today, D's Sweet Bread honors those memories by creating homemade breads and baked goods made with care and heart. Our dream isn't to build an empire—it's to share delicious food with our community and one day open a cozy café where everyone feels like family.
